Breast cancer risk Factors - breast cancer is the most common malignancy among women. It accounts for approximately 1/4 th of all malignancies among women.
Risk factors of breast cancer are:-
- a) Age - more common in females age > 40 yrs.
- b) Sex- more common among female (99%) as compared to male ( 1%).
- c) Obesity.
d) Physical inactivity. - e) Hormone replacement therapy.
- f) Hereditary or genetic risk factors - BRCA1 and BRCA2 mutation.
- g) Radiation exposure.
- h) Reproductive history - early menarche , late menopause , nulliparity.
- i) Abscence of breast feeding.
